Hi guys,

Excuse me for taking short-cut rather than running thru all previous threads.
Didn't know there are so many drop-ins out there.

Please let me know the BEST drop-in(P60) for the below purpose.

1. Warm Tint (just like or a bit whiter than incand lights with fresh cells!)
2. Strong throw with good enough side spill(more focused on throw)
3. more than 1 hour runtime with 17670(I'm gonna use C2)
3. if 1,2 and 3 are satisfied, the brightest one.
(and hopefully, 2 stage brightness without any Mod if there is any)

BTW, could some one help me to find a thread with beamshots and runtime review for drop-ins?

Awaiting for your help!

Thx with Regards.

Ana-say-oh (please forgive my butchering of your language!),

I've got a BugoutgearUSA Cree Super Premium drop-in in my C2. It is a great thrower. It has a hint of blue but it puts out an intense hot spot with just enough spill IMHO.

It would have to be the Malkoff M30W - hands-down. I have one with a Q3 5A, so great tint, and it's definitely more suited to throw but still with plenty of usable side-spill. Not to mention it has an optic - so you get more out the front, and that huge brass heat sink for heat dissipation. Yep, pretty much perfect IMO.

Kelmo, your Korean is great! Where did you learn?

Richs, I visited markoff web, and it says they only ship to certain countries where my country was excluded.. :(

Does anyone know who makes drop-ins with warm tint beans?

My neighbors moved to Sacramento from Seoul.

I had a Malkoff M60W and sold it to a friend. Perhaps you could pick up on from the Marketplace?

That is sage advice, there are usually lots of Malkoff M60/M30 coming and going all the time so its not hard to find one.

My vote would have to go to the Dereelight P60 3SM Q4 5A/B drop-in. I've tried the Malkoffs and didn't like the beam pattern - too floody for me. If you prefer throw, go with the Dereelight with a SMO reflector. I run mine on an protected AW 17670 and gives me about 80-90mins run time. On a pair of Energizer CR123s, I get well over 120mins runtime.

Really? The Malkoff's optic is too floody??

Well, here is a direct comparison between the two. Decide for yourself.

I did, that's why I sold the Malkoff and kept the Dereelight... RichS if you like the floody beam of the Malkoff, I'm very happy for you.:twothumbs

Cosmo,

Thanks a lot for your advise.

It's been quite a while since I last visited CPF... about 2 years before maybe...
No longer familiar with the drill. Thanks for your advise. I'll study hard.

Kelmo,

That's good to hear. Say hi to your friends and tell them Seoul is very cold now. :)

RichS,

Thanks a lot for the beam shot. That helps me a lot.

Lumens Factory made a run of special "selected" warmer tint LED's.
I got one with my Seraph and its now sitting in my bedside "go-to" 6PD.

A really good drop in. See if you can find one of them as the pricing is a lot better than anything mentioned above.

Thanks Fusion_m8. My Malkoff M30 is my 2nd most floody light, right behind my DBS.
