Not that I want to know, but I'd put more stock in your thinking on the matter than some actor from Hollywood.

Thanks!

I don't believe in having to be politically correct. I will continue to express myself freely in a lawful and non violent way per the our first amendment. Even if that cost me business :)

I guess in a way that's very bad as I am not putting Sky Lumen best interest first and foremost. If I was Sky Lumen CEO I might not hire myself. But until then.... HaHa ;-)

I had prk done almost 25 years ago. I have 20/20 in one eye and 20/15 in the other. I get dry eyes once every 6 months or so and i have to use eye drops. Did they remove the protective lens after surgery yet? That's when you know you're in the clear

I just realized I had it done in 1995. To bad my brain isn't as good as my eyes. It is exactly 25 years. Happy anniversary

I get dry eyes once every 6 months or so and i have to use eye drops. That's worth it.

Did they remove the protective lens after surgery yet? Sure did after day 4.

Are your eyes still great??

I have decided to Vacuum Wrap most lights from now on. It encourage me to clean the light more thoroughly and remember to add V54 if ordered. There are other obvious benefits but most importantly it gives great satisfaction to open any sealed goodies. I hope you guys will enjoy this added feature.

Vacuum wrap sounds good. That will prolong the anticipation, LOL.

Juat received Noctigon K1vn SBT90 DeLens and WOW! What an impressive powerhouse!

Last night I dazzled some muggles by the campfire with my D4vn XPG2. That inspired me to order an FW3vn Quad W2, which should be even more impressive!

I haven't been so excited for a light like I am for my W3vn Pro since.... maybe my first D25Cvn??? VN4 on this thing is a game changer, no other LEP has... well anything beyond 2 modes, let alone user select-able groups. I can't wait for a 1% mode on an LEP!

Even with super-new cutting edge tech just hitting markets, Vinh can leap right on ahead!

Hey Vinh, thoughts or plans on modding an Acebeam L17? 40mm head TIR optic dedicated thrower. Looks to outdo the similar competition perhaps. Possible 200kcd?

I have a L17 here. Its basically a MC13vn except not as impressive since it uses the Ws instead of the W.1s.
Also Acebeam doesnt tune the beam to perfection like Manker does.

I have the MC13 stock, MC13vn with W2.1, E10, and L17 and I can confirm what Vinh said is true. Despite they use the same optic, the MC13 beam is more fine tuned than the E07 and the MC13vn beam is more fine tuned than the L17. The Mankers have less artifact and the hotspot is more uniform.

Here are some measurements. Sorry I don't take throw measurements. My house is not big enough for this setup.

Strangely the MC13vn does better with the included 18350 vs 18650. With 18650, it measures 970 lumens on turbo instead of 1,000 and that is the highest I got after trying many different 18650 cells including Manker 18650, VTC6, VTC5D, P26A, NCR18650GA, and protected and unprotected versions. I'm wondering if the 18650 tube is too long and the springs are not long enough to provide enough contact pressure. However even with the long protected cells, it still makes less lumen than the included 18350.

I asked Vinh to mod my TM9K by replacing 5 of the stock 6500k XPL2 with 3000K XPL2 7A V4 bin from Kaidomain. I don't like the blue CW in the stock light so I was expecting to sacrifice 1,000 lumens or more to have a pleasant usable tint. I was shocked to see that the lumen output on turbo actually increase over stock!!! Seems like KD's batch of the 3000k is really high output! Also the resulting tint is beautiful!!! I'm so happy with this light now! The instant turbo is really fun to play with and I can't stop tapping it.

Here are measurements of the same XPL2 3000K emitter on its own. Notice how the important color rendering scores CRI, R9, R12, and Rf all went up after mixing the 3000K with the 6500K. This proves mixing CCT improves light quality!!!

Your stock tm9k has some poorly mounted LEDs with barely any solder below them so i am not sure if that was the reason for the lesser stock performance of the xpl2 6500k or not. Either way, seeing that I just re flow all the LEDs to be safe.

Ahhh that makes sense and probably explains why the modded light is brighter on turbo but dimmer on the high mode. The poor factory soldering bottlenecked current to the emitters on turbo.

Right away, when the TM9K was announced in late 2019, I ordered it from Vinh, along with his mod, engraving, extended warranty and specs card. When the light was first announced, I knew I had to have it, based on its exciting specs and exciting configuration. Just press the mode paddle for instant 9,120 single 21700 Nitecore and Vinh high quality happiness.

I am not really sure how the TM9Kvn is used with professional photographers but its very popular for the job.
