I was watching a show about the history of NASA and they were talking of the missions to the moon and what the astronauts did. If you had a chance to visit the moon what would you do?

Me? I'd start throwing rocks at the earth.

Why, I'd moon people from the moon, of course !

Hey, JOshooter didn't say which side of the moon /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

For me, I will be looking all over the place for all those space junk/surplus(?)/toys/freebies left by the US government during the Apollo missions, the lunar 4x4 looks fun to drive, may put some 27" rims on it too...lol /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I believe a day on the moon is the length of about one month, or 30 earth days or 340 hours. If you are anywhere near the moon equator you should have 170 hours of sunlight followed by 175 hours of darkness. You are going to need lots of batteries. Let's face it, you'll have to get up several times during the night.

The stars will be very bright though, without an atmosphere. It would be an ideal place for a telescope.

I think the first group of people to go to the moon ought to be comprised entirely of astronomers and flashaholics.
