The pendulum motion on one of my wall clocks must have a winding short or something. It goes through an alkaline AA in several weeks, and even an Energizer Ultimate lithium lasts only a few months. All my other clocks will last at least a year on an alkaline, and likely into someone elses lifetime on an Ultimate Lithium. I love the clock, so I am thinking of wiring up a 1.5 volt DC wall wart power supply, but the lowest I've been able to find is 3v or 4.5 volts. Is there a cheap 1.5 volt wall wart out there, or could I put an x-watt, x-ohm resistor in line with a 3 volt P/S?
