Hi

Copper Grease?

My light is the Ultrafire MCU-C7s.

If i put some Copper Grease on the pill thread, will this help heat transfer, from the pill to the body.
I want to help the heat go from the pill to the body.

What else can i use instead of Copper Grease.

I would be very careful posting 2 threads with the same exact question. The mods will close at least one of them.

I'm not too familiar with copper grease, but using any kind of thermal grease would definately help conduct heat better than nothing as the threads don't make 100% contact with each other.

You should wait for someone with more knowledge on this topic before doing this as I'd hate for this to ruin a light for whatever reason I'm not aware of.
