Can't get there from here. It's like comparing pomegranets and watermelons - with one you eat the seeds and throw away the flesh, with the other you eat the flesh and throw away the seeds.

Candle power measures the amount of light at a POINT one meter in front of the light. Lumens measures the total amount of light output from the bulb. There is absolutely no way to convert from one to the other. You can measure candle power with a light meter. To get lumens you need a sophisticated light integrating sphere (not cheap).
 
I saw a cheap Thor at a farm store today.

It was cheap, smaller battery, shorter reflector, etc.

The distinguishing feature was that it only had one switch on the side and not two.
 
I have this little digital pocket radio with built in speaker it has am-fm stereo weather band and tv sound and it is also a alarm clock.
I bet I can make the alarm turn on the hid light in the thor thor - aim it at my bed and I would see the light.
the alarm all ready makes a loud annoying beeping sound.
I saw it in my desk. it runs on 3 volts.

it is small and thin enough to fit into the rear rubber battery cover of the thor if the rubber cover is carefully cut out.

all of the controls I need to operate the radio are on the front and top of the radio.

I will use a lm317t voltage regulator to power it from the thor's battery

the speaker sounds pretty good.

my hid thor will have tunes. I must be insane some one please stop me.

I also have a 6 inch tritrium green glow tube I am going to mount to the inside(twards the bottom of the lens) of the front lens of the thor.
It does not affect the beam at all.

a long time ago in a thor thread some one mentioned
that the only thing the thor needed was a radio.

he was joking but why not I never use the little radio.
and I will get extra special(he's nuts) looks from my friends.

I wonder if I can put a little electric wind shield wiper on it like some car's have on their headlights ha ha.

You probably saw this one.

It is a bit smaller and considerably lighter than the 10 megaCP version. You can fit a bigger battery in it but it becomes unbalanced, not to mention heavy. It uses an H3 style 100w bulb. I replaced it with a 55w to give longer run time.

You could look at your local junk yard, I mean "auto parts recycler" and see if you can find a headlight wiper from a junked car.

If you know beam angle and CP, you can do a very dirty conversion (read: huge margin of error) to get lumens. Better to go hardcore and integrate the radiation pattern which would likely be close to the lumens mesaurement from an integrating sphere.

I used some relatively simple formulas to approximate lumens output for the LED DB (linked below).
