I understand that there is some incompatiblity between some heads and tubes w.r.t threads. Is there a clear visual clue as to which is the old and new thread style? Also, is it a simple incompatibility in that you must have the correct head and tube[e.g., different thread pitch] or is it something odd like all heads will fit one tube type but not vice versa?
