Hello!
I have a Fenix L2D and i'm very happy with that light, but sometimes i could have a lamp with more throw (for geocaching at night ).
Some features that the additional light should bring:
I have searched a bit and found following lights:
Ultrafire WF-606A, WF-600 3W Cree and WF-800 3W Cree.
I have chosen dealextreme, because i live in germany and they don't have shipping cost. And i don't have the illusion to get a brand light for the money i want to spend.
From my point of view the pro of the 606 is that it uses AAs, but its probably not such a good thrower.
The pro of WF-600/800 are that they will probably be better thrower, but then i have to buy additional rechargeables and a new charger... that sure would blow my budget... :sigh:
Can someone say if it pays off to buy a new rechargeable battery type (and fitting charger)?
Or does somebody know other lights?
I really would love the WF-600 if it would not use 18650s...
Thats a lot!
