What lights would you recommend for illuminating a campsite or park for nigh-time play? I'm assuming I'd want at least 4x for avoiding weird shadows

Lanterns. Any good lantern. The blf one comes to mind. Or the streamlight. I don't know lanterns very well. I collect older incandescent ones. But still recommend some lanterns

If you can find them cheap, some old Coleman lanterns give off a lot of lumens. I would suggest the 2 mantle white gas ones over the propane, but then I'm partial to them because I have experience with them. Either one would work for you, but I'd go double mantle vs single mantle, I think you get more lumens with two, but I don't know for sure.

What kind of "night time play" are we talking about?

I'm curious if a multi lantern setup or a multi flood light setup would be better.
