I'm close to getting a Thrunite Archer 1A but read of troubles with it tearing up O rings. Has anybody had any troubles with this light?

Mine had one O ring torn in it when I got it and ripped another pretty quickly, now has had last one in it for ages, well lubed and seated seams OK.

I really like the light, Lumens and throw over exaggerated by Thrunite, but still good and I would recommend one.

High on Energizer L91 guesstimate 120lm, 14500 maybe 250lm, Lower modes are low! On 14500 3rd level maybe 50lm.

Throw about 120m with 14500 in my opinion.

Switches between modes very smoothly and reliably.

Did you add lube?
Did you take extra care to seat the ring since two tore?
Hearing it is possible to keep a decent seal is encouraging.

I have had no problems with mine, but I did lube the threads and o rings. A very nice light with good mode spacing.

mine killed two o rings within the first week. so i decided to use it without o ring at the tailcap. othwerwise great light and pretty good thrwo from a small single aa.

Yes I did add lube, it had a little on it when it came , but added some of my own.

I guess I did use extra care with the last one, but not unduly so.
