Thrunite Catapult DOA

Candle Power Forums

Help Support Candle Power:

nice. i was very concerned about leakage since im in the northwest and it's always wet in winter and i do use it alot and it's been getting rained on. i feel better. :D

now i would never be the type of person to promote dishonest practices and behavior:naughty:, but were you to have an issue w/ water seeping into the light and wreaking havoc, i suppose you could just screw the head down and pop the dome off. then you could play dumb and request a new emitter/housing...provided you were the type of person who is not afflicted w/ a condition known as having a conscience. i'm gonna go back to living by my high ethical standards now...just puttin' that strategy out there.

I just received a replacement Catapult in the mail! I had ordered the first Catapult from Lighthound. When I sent them an email about the broken off dome, they immediately agreed to send a free replacement and pay for the shipping to return the defective light.

Actually, this is a good idea. I think it's very difficulty to make a light can not be ruined. but we often provide good service. and we take responsibility for our action, I think everyone purchase Catapult like the Catapult. so I think they should cherish it ! damged. we'll do accoring our warranty service!

by the way. our light has good waterproof. I think it should survive the wet and winter season!

Thanks Best Regards

no argument here. a lot of people are taking notice of your active participation here on CPF and that has helped you guys gain a lot of credibility and respect here. i'm sure you've read the same comments I have. my Cat has taken a fair amount of abuse in the last couple months and continues to perform flawlessly. now please, hurry...i'm dying to see what you guys come up with in a D26 & D36 format:popcorn:!!!!!

Awesome examples of CS, it's making the decision between the Thrunite and the Dereelight even harder. You guys need to do a 1x18650 SST-50 thrower that's effectively regulated and driven at 2.5A+ :twothumbs

thrunite,
before the emitter on my flashlight can have a chance to pop off, do you think you can send me an improved reflector design so the problem doesnt happen to me? that would be really nice of you.

Don't push it...

Also, it's kind of unfair to post this in a public forum. Your practically forcing them to either give you free stuff or look bad. While we're at it, I'd like a free Catapult myself

i dont want anything free, well maybe exept an improved reflector design. hell, i'll even send the old one back. (on their dime of course)
