ti cub VS mclux ti

It seems the mention of how many Ti cubs were available for sale keeps shrinking every time I hear it.

apologies for stating 6 available when actual number sold is 8. original post is corrected.

"12 made (not counting TnC's own that he kept), four were kept by "us" and eight sold."

two weeks EDC'ing Mclux ti, day and night.

been doing all night burn test on low. works real good!

detensioned kilroy spring to one notch separation between low and high. this eased thread drag considerably.

happy to report threads has smoothed out. Mclux ti has been working flawlessly.

Are you using Teflon grease on the mclux ti?
This should smooth things out and prevent galling completely.

Anglepoise, have not had to use teflon grease. Mclux ti's threads was covered already in some type of teflon looking lube.

since reducing tension on kilroy bar, it's been pretty smooth.
still takes a bit of torque to operate twisty action. but with mclux ti's most excellent profile to grab on to. it's a pleasure to use this light.

mclux ti rides clipped in my front pocket. it's bumped the place my sebbie usually lives. been trying to figure out how to EDC both comfortably. since I don't get along with pouches.
