I just bought a couple of these for $1.00 each, free shipping:
http://www.cfrlights.com/servlet/the-316/lithium,-battery,-cr123a,-photon,/Detail
The price has gone up since then.
The batteries look like the one in the photo. However, this thread (from 2007!) says that the "new" Titanium packaging uses big yellow letters, like this:
http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/titanium_123a.htm
So, are these really old batteries, and does that explain why they were $1.00 shipped? Are these the crummy ones that were prone to venting and reading 20% out of the box?
Could it be that the original shipment from CFR Lights caught on fire, and that is why it got lost while in the custody of the USPS? (Dan graciously reshipped after I informed him of the missing package.)
I have a ZTS tester on the way, will give it a shot when it arrives.
