I've got a bunch of extra batts, CR123, CR2, AA, AAA, etc. that I would like to take out into the field. Anyone know of a maker currently building Ti battery cases? These seem to be a no brainer, strong and light, waterproof, can hold a couple of the same battery and has some kind of lanyard attachment point.

Titanium conducts electricity. If you need a plastic insulator between the batteries and the titanium case, why not just use plastic?

Ok...slightly on topic but slight off topic. Does anyone have a link to the mini Pelican cases for 123 batteries that has the foam already pre-cut to fit 123's. I had it bookmarked but can't seem to find it! Bmstrong...this is probably what you want. If there are stronger cases than Pelican let me know because they are bomb proof brother!!

Only true if the battery can contact both terminals to the case, I carry a 123 in a metal pill container without insulation as the case is slightly longer than the battery.

Walmart has an Ozark Trails plastic match case. Only costs a buck. Heavy plastic, waterproof seal, and fits 2 cr123 or single 18650 very well. If worse comes to worse...also has a flint striker on the bottom. :grin2:

Did you find what you're looking for? What did you get?

Thanks.

There is a place that makes stainless vials for pills one of which will hold
123s. These are a bit heavy but, whatever works I guess. I haven't seen any Titanium cases but wonder if they might be a bit pricey for battery carry though.....I generally use plastic cases some of which are waterproof (Pelican) others, just holders of translucent plastic.

Battery station has the case empty or full for 15 cells
