I seem to be ahving a run of bad luck with new torches :(
After buying a TN12 fro illumination supply in late november, mine's been used twice but now It fails to power up. After checking online I notice the TN12 had issues with it. It is not really worth sending back due to customs and clearance :( But generally speaking how reliable are the TN12's are the smaller lights by Thrunite.

Thanks in advance

I sent my scorpion in to thrunite, directly to factory for repair on a circuit which went bad on first start up, shipping was not expensive and they got it back to me pretty quick in the end, its been faultless since.

Are you sure it's not the switch? I have a TN12 which came direct from Thrunite with the switch retaining ring not property tightened down. I took the whole switch out and reinstalled it and it worked fine after that...other than the less than stellar twisy level adjustment. You may indeed have a circuit problem, but check that switch first, I believe it is a recognized (at least among recent users) glitch in an otherwise decent little light.
