Hi I have recently found this LED light http://www.tank007.com/view_products.asp?id=366 with XR-E Q5 LED and 1-cell CR123A power source. The producer promises the output level 225 Lumens for 2 hours. Is it possible to keep such luminosity for such a long time? (considering the power source) Similar LED lights (Fenix etc.) have the same output level, but only for 1 hour. And my other question is about strobe/SOS function. Is it possible to estimate the power consumption (in hours) and luminosity (in Lumens) using Strobe/SOS mode? I need the light for biking. Critical thing for me is a size/weight and energy consumption using flash mode (I want to be seen also during a day) and I want to use the light also trough night if my ride takes more than I expected (it is not so often, but sometimes happen). So if you know similar light (size, output level + efficient flash mode) please do not hesitate to advise me. Thanks

No -

did it say 3Watt so with a 4.2v batt its 700mA , 600mA capacity ....

Primary would be 1A , say 1200mA capacity

Then there are the variables ,

Short answer no ..

Flash mode , just measure with multi meter , its usually a fair bit less than having it on high .
My own Fav little EDC [ CR123A ] pulls about half the current on strobe
