Torches with USA written on them

I've seen some torch lights out there in which I'm sure are made in China but they've got the word USA written on the side, does this actually mean the torch is made in the States ?

I think it means the LED was made/developed in the US. Other ones might have it just to sell the light.

If it says Made in USA, like Surefire, then it is probably made in the US.

the lights I have seen with USA in big letters are usually foreign made.

for example, a light that says "everybodysbrotherfire USA" is probably
completely made overseas in a factory with no lunch breaks.

It means it's Made in the USA: United States of somewhere in Asia.

These are also the same lights that are marked 7W, 15W or 55W. Anything printed on them means nothing.
