Consider reducing sensitivity of the Bounce feature if your light is going to red while not reflecting off of something close. I put white electrical tape in the bottom of my flashlight holsters to get enough reflection for the Bounce feature to activate, at the level of sensitivity I use.
Have you tried the battery gauge? Must be so handy for users!
And the tint? I'm sure it is great in snow.
I just have not spent enough with the bounce setting and it may not work with the same setting for 1 and 2 cell configurations. At the moment I am not concerned.
The tint on my light is very nice. I would describe it as white toward the yellow end. Definitely not angry blue or green. Mine is an XPL.
The battery meter is a cool feature. I find it useful. I was just playing with the light in the backyard and I noticed the step down during continuous use as I have stretch enabled.
I am very pleased so far.
