This light is a beast! It is definitely not a pocket rocket, at 3.2 pounds with its cells (included) and 16" long.
Built by Will Quiles, it consists of a Delghi 3" HAIII-NAT head with Carley smooth reflector, riding on a Mirage_Man 4D HAIII-NAT Mag tube. The color match is so good, they could have been done in the same tank, instead of in Italy and Florida. The emitter is the 6-die 15W Ostar LE UW E3B, QY bin, driven by a MaxFlex multi-level converter. The light runs on 2x KD 8.4v D Li-Ion stacks (included) and has a KD gold shorty tail spring. The lens is UCL.
* Also included is the charger specific to these cell packs, with magnet leads.*
The light is in absolutely pristine condition. The cellpacks have had two charges on them. The output is absolutely astounding. As you can see from Will's beamshots, it has a perfect hotspot, which is huge and round. Combine that with plenty of usable sidespill, and you have a beam which could light up a darkened football field and nearly burn down the goalposts at the other end.
The MaxFlex is, in my opinion, the very best converter for this light. Press and hold the switch, and it steps through 5 levels, from low to high. Stop on one of the levels by releasing the switch. Click to turn off. Click again, and the light returns to your previous level, or press and hold to step through the levels again. There is no momentary, as the switch was rewired to utilize the converter.
