Trinewt Battery?

First... thanks to all on the forums. An -excellent- source of information and the beam shots are fantastic.

Second... apologies if I didn't read the FAQ or if it has been posted already.

Anyone know what the battery looks like on the Trinewt? I have an older Head Trip and it has served me well but the weak point is where the wires attach to to the battery and I am concerned about similar reliability issues with the TriNewt.

What about the charger, what does it look like? I'm planning an extended tour and may need to drag the charger with me in the pack.

Any links or your expert opinions would be appreciated.

For people who would like i.e. buy themselves bigger battery in batteryspace there is one problem - led driver & fuel gauge are integrated in battery case... So you have to protect battery at all costs - replacement will cost you 200$.

Recently, I read on another forum (see here http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?p=3615665)


that the first batch of batteries had issues. One of the other battery-related (or possibly battery-related, correct me if I am wrong) issues I posted about can be found here:
