Tritium vials?

Tritium vials? Is there anything that works like it, but is much brighter?

(I have no idea where to post this, mods, move if you see fit..)

Yes, I've been wondering too. Perhaps there are tritium vials with a much larger surface area?

Yeah. I first looked at that thread some time back, and did a lot of thinking about buying one or two. The problem for me was that they are so long. It would be really neat to have one in the shape (and perhaps size) of a nickle or quarter. One that would nestle into the hollowed-out end cap of a flashlight would be ideal.
