I think the TurboFlares are marketed as being "weatherproof" though, not "waterproof".

I believe the TurboFlare 360 is also advertised to float, though I probably won't throw mine in the {vulgar term for feces}bowl to verify that...better use the sink instead. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
BRB...checking that - with a SINK of course...ok, it does float in water, with the top of the bezel with the LEDs above the waterline so diffraction will not be an issue.

I saw it mentioned somewhere - on their website perhaps - so I put that on my TurboFlare 360 page when I first published it, but didn't actually test that until this afternoon.

I believe a store called Sam's Club has these on clearance; a package of two for $9.81 if I remember correctly.
This was in mid- late-April, so I don't know if Sam's Club stores have these anymore or not.
It would be worth checking though, if you have a Sam's Club near you.
