I spent two days running speaker wire in my attic and decided to use my TW4 for my headlamp[with a flashlight band] and just had to say that this is the greatest area lighter in the world. It lasted 4 and a half hours with wonderful attic-filling light and didn't hardly dim or get hot. I went through 3 batteries to tell you how much fun I had! Nice! I've been thinking of rigging my TW4 for headlamp duty by using a strap assembly from my Princeton Tech Matrix and securing the TW4 to the top strap.

the TW4 is indeed great for close up and flood work =). i used it on my roof for something and it never got warm as well.
