Twisty cap ????

Well it looks like I need a spacer but they don't make them anymore. That sucks. The battery rattle is pretty bad and if you shake the light it flashes on. Guess I want be using the twisty. I thought it would come with everything I needed /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The P-123 packs are sold "AS-IS" and are not recommended. This is posted on our website. The clicky works a lot better.

Yes, you should add a spacer. A simple one can be fashioned from two sided foam tape. Cut to fit the twisty cap diameter, then cut a hole for the post to stick through. The foam should be just a touch higher than the post in the senter of teh twisty.
Leave the paper on the foam to make it removable. Take the paper off one side to make it permanent. If it's not thick enough, add a second layer of foam tape.
It's not as slick or nice as what Arc provides, but it's easy to do and cheap.
Craft centers also sell compressable foam in sheets.

You can also do the trick of just wrapping some paper around the battery to keep it from sliding about so easily. Cut down post-it notes work great.
I had the same problem as you. Battery rattled inside and light wouldn't turn on even with the switch screwed all the way in.
I put a small rare earth magnet on the bottom of my battery. This fixed the problem and the battery rattles very little if the switch is unscrewed by a 1/4 turn or so. If even a little rattle bothers you, you can do the tape around the battery trick someone else suggested.
I greatly prefer my new twisty...makes the light a good deal smaller and I don't have to worry about it turning on when I don't want it too.
