Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I thought I'd share some beamshots I took tonight. This is from a black McLux PR with a TX1K driven from 2x123 and a DB700. All shots taken with a Minolta Dimage 7Hi with all settings on auto. The flashlights are approximately 12 inches from the wall.

TX1K/700ma/PR vs R2H(HD)/350ma/Fraen LP.

In this picture the R2H's beam is well outside the TX1K/PR's spill to help illustrate the differences in their beams. It's hard to tell from the photo but the TX1K/PR combo's hotspot is a good deal brighter than the R2H/Fraen.

TX1K/700ma/PR vs Q2?(LD)/3xN Direct Drive/NX-05

The lights are closer in this picture and the camera has been zoomed in a bit. If you look carefully you can see that the Q2/NX-05's beam spot is just inside the TX1K/PR's spill.

TX1K/700ma/PR vs Inova X5T

The overly blue light from the X5T makes the TX1K's seem a bit on the yellow side - that's just because I don't know how to adjust the white balance on my camera yet.

TX1K/700ma/PR vs V2T(5w)/700ma/PR

This is another case of improper white balance in the pic. To my eyes the V2T is every bit as white as the TX1K. Anyway, the V2T's hotspot's diameter is bigger by at least 75% and the spill seems to wash out the TX1K's.
