A fun weekend and quite serene weather-wise. Rob suprised us all by proving you can still wear shorts in late September ( although he did change them as night fell). Food was supplied by the local chippy and chinese take aways - the chips were great until we turned a UV light on them - grease fluoresces!!!
And many plaudits to Petrev for his delicate way of toasting crumpets with butter, marmite and cheese - yumsk!
Many thanks to cdosrun, blue led, brunt sp, Orb, TX101, Petrev, Jay R for making this a memorable time - next time we press on along the beach until we reach Selsey.
Can this be the last meet up in 2010??? Time will tell.
Some of the lights as they pile up, waiting for the dark.
Spot the cheapest HID of the meet.
Which ones an SF?
Jay R scrutinizes.
And likes what he sees.
cdosrun spots the Polarion.
And he's off!!!!
Rob realizes that shorts are not your friends at dusk in late September on the South Coast!
Random light shots.
Petrev's backup case!
Forced inside by the cold we waited for the nighttime walk - we used no houselights. Before Petrev's ceiling bounce test.
During...
The fiend!
And the after glow.
Then onto the beach for some high beam madness.
Don't cross the streams, guys! You remember what Egon said would happen!!
Uncharacteristically, lit by moonlight.
Then, fun with lasers the next morning - the balloons popped and the matches...
The matches...
...were obviously too damp! Should have used this, perhaps.
The smallest lights of the meet.
All in all, NICE!!!!!
Thanks to all who came, commiserations to those who couldn't and more travels with torches next year.
BTW - Solscud007 - the walls look that way because they are train carriages. Cheap and well built, I say.
We did do one more light painting picture, ( well, that and one that has no place on a family forum!) but it won't be here, maybe in the dealer's forum?
