I noticed this light on their website but couldn't find anything on searching the forum. Does anyone know anything about this light? How might it compare with a G2? What kind of switching does it have? Where would be a good place to buy one? Any other very waterproof lithium lights with high output?

Very nice little light. Dive-light quality water resistance, lightweight. Switch is by turning the head bezel. Beam quality is a bit splotchy, no bad, but not SF quality. One interesting thing about this light is that the brightness/runtime tradeoff is different than most of the 2x123A tactical lights -- it gets 30ish lumens for almost 3 hours. That makes it more suitable than a 6P/PTM6/Stinger/etc for many jobs.

I really like my UK 2L, I carry it in the pocket of my work coat every day. Some of the reasons I like it and carry it every day, are that it was inexpensive (for a 2x123 light), is very compact, quality construction, non-metallic so it doesn't set off the metal detector at work, and longer runtime than my 2x123 Surefire lights. The beam quality and output aren't quite up to Surefire standards, but it is more compact than my SF's, and has longer runtime, which are good compromises IMHO. You can't go wrong with the UK 2L.

If beam quality is a concern, throw a piece of textured WriteRight on the lens - that's what I did after the reviw. See the end of the WriteRight page for a good photo comparison of what the film can do to a blotchy beam.

Thanks....got to say, for someone that's addicted to fishing sites, this site has an amazing amount of participants and activity. Appreciate your help. Rick

This is an under appreciated light. It is sturdy, lasts a long time on a set of batteries, and will stay in storage a long time. I've got one in every car for emergencies.

I however don't use it in the house for emergencies. Only because there is a flashlight in nearly every room already.
As far as cost, I think only the Brinkmann LX is cheaper for a 2 cell lithium light.
