Another one bites the dust: Ultrafire C3 Q5 5mode dies after fall.
Led is OK, but the driver is not pumping voltage, only direct connection with cca 2.6V. Since all the marking on driver ic's and transistors are sanded, can anyone help me as to what could be the problem on component level?

I thought that some solder joint gave way after shock, but everything is in order...

Does anybody have any success stories in repairing this driver on component level, or at least can give me info on types of components used?
Thanks!

I have the same problem(broken driver board).
Did you find any information about this?

No, I haven't found out anything useful.
I bought a second driver from DX sku 7882 and the same one from KD. Guess what, one from KD has only three modes low, med, high:) I had to sand down the pill diametere for about 0,5mm to fit the drivers.
Why KD driver has only 3 modes, I don't know... Maybe I cut the ground somewhere, but I will leave as is, since 3 modes is perfect for me.

I use 2xAA setup, but neither driver will work with one AA. (Reason for this is that the new driver sits a litle bit higher in the pill, and with spring protruding even a little bit higher, negative pole of batter is higher than the body of flashlight. Switch can not complete the circuit.)

If you have some tools and DIY spirit, change of driver is not so complicated, and there a few posts here explaining it in detail.
