hello all, cant find anything on putting brighter leds on this light. i put a xpg-r5 behind the reflector and it looks like it might work for this style reflector. it comes with the ssc-u2 leds and im guessing at 700-800ma each puts out about 150 lumans? anybody know?
i ordered 8 xpg-r5s from dx. i think this light has a lot more potential than it set up for, but its allways a gamble changeing led types with designed reflectors.
dont get me wrong, this is a great light 800ft throw and tons of flood. i just want it too be as good as it can be.
please, this is about changeing leds, not build quality, beamshots, weight, you know etc. thanks, randy. cheers!!!!
