UltraFire WF-138 problem w/AWRCR123's?

Howdy everyone.

I just took delivery of a brand new UltraFire WF138 and several brand new AWRCR123's.

My question is, is it normal for the LED's on the charger to be out when plugged in and after inserting either one or two RCR123's?

I wonder if the batteries were delivered fully charged then the LEDF's may not turn on or maybe the charger was delivered DOA?

Hello edseas2.

Welcome to the forum.

It looks like your charger is dead.

The cells are not full, they usually have 3,8 Volt or so.

A Digital Volt Meter is a must for most of us, then you know for sure.

Did you choose the right voltage settings?
You can choose between 3.0 V or 3.6 V.

Seems like it is, indeed DOA after checking the picture of the switch.

I'll try to return it to where I got it - I have a Novatac 120T on the way and want to avoid feeding it the normal 123's (too much $$$).
