These chargers get a little hot when charging dual 18650 batts , so I thought it time to do a mod to keep the electronics cooler .

Its a 40mm fan drawing power from the charger .. I just hope I didnt kill the charger trying to find 12volts for the fan :twak:

If I have to , ill buy another WF-139 and do the mod again now that I know where to suck the 12 volts from ... :tinfoil:

Only good for Effort : Problem is the fan puts the charger into trickle mode , no matter where I try its trickle city ... :mecry:

I run extra fans on some of my Hobby Chargers. I power the fan(s) from the 12V input prior to the chargers electronics. If the input of this charger is less than 12V the fan will still run, just at a slower speed. You can also purchase such fans designed to run off of 5V and perhaps even other voltages.

Yeah , problem is I wanted to power the fan from the guts of the charger , but no mater where I source the power from it puts the charger into trickle mode , 0.01A = E for effort ... As soon as I disconnect the fan , the charger goes back to normal .
