I just got this from DX, it is far brighter than my fenix d30 which surprise me a bit.
The text is Ultrafire WF-501B SSC-P7-CSXO 3-Mode 900-Lumen.
It does have 3 modes, high, low, and strobe.
My problem is that it is currently running off 2xCR123 3V disposable batteries at 3A tailcap current.
That is 3Ax6V=18W
In a perfect world 1W would equal 100LM, and I do not believe in overspec. lights from DX.
Does anyone know how much energy is lost in the driver at respectively 3,7V from a 18650 and at 6V from 2xcr123. ?
