I searched the forums here and googled a bit but couldn't find any reviews of the uniross AA2500 batteries.
How are these batteries, compared to sanyo 2500 ?
These are the only ones available at my local camera shop and come with b/w
He can also get me sanyos but without a warranty. I heard that there are lots of fake sanyos in the market.
So, can any knowledgable member like Silverfox tell me about the uniross batteries.

Thanks

The various "2500" cells have a pretty bad track record. It's probably a good idea to stay away from them, no matter the brand.

Where are you located? The particular batteries in a brand like Uniross can vary according which continent or country they are purchased in.

Unless you have specific needs, you would probably be better choosing one of the newer low self-discharge batteries these days. They have a lower rated capacity but tend to deliver more effective capacity for many users.

I am from India, and eneloops are not available here.
The only LSD baatteries available here are the uniross hybrios, and they are very expensive.
