I should have made that point more specific, or noticeable. That is the one way that those who are opped to the war can still be supportive of the soldiers fighting it. If they consider the war merely mistimed, bad strategy, unnessary or the like, then ok. The ones I have issue with are those who state that the war itself is illegal, ordered by the non-elected president, itself an outlaw government.
To get back to the topic,
Don't send any latters, or packages to service members unless you know them. The military ended the "any servicemember" program out of fear that the packages could be used to send dangerous materials to troops (dangerous to the troops, a bomb, poisoned, or a biologically contaminated item). The same applies to organisations that send out care packages.
