I was bored and found an AAA on top of my drawer. So I decided to put it in my mini AA to see whether or not it turns on. At first it didn't, then I shook it a little and BAM, we got light!
What an awesome backup/emergency light. So if you are desperate and only have AAA, it works just fine. Just thought you like to know.
