Using FRS or GMRS radio in Europe?

I am planning a trip to europe later this year, I am wondering if its possible to bring over FRS or GMRS radio and use them in Europe?

Wikipedia says no.

But it also says you can use these which operate on a different frequency.

But if you get the PMR446 radios and an FCC amateur license, you can use them back in the USA.

The easiest way is to buy or rent a set while there use them then on sell them.
