nice beamshots! from the photos it looks like the Q5s have a very nice tint. is it WG? do you like the tint? is there any green in it or just the slight yellow that the pics show? thanks for the shots.

I was just thinking the same thing, the tint certainly isn't cool as far as I care to opinionate. I was expecting 'cool' like the p3d shown, this is white imo, i like this WG tint, it was the only thing stopping me from grabbing a couple.

yes,it is WG tint,the slight green tint only showed in my Kai's 4 mode flashlight but not that bad, it is almost the same tint like ssc p4 uswo in op reflector,but in smooth reflector it is slightly warm white.
When i use unprotected rcr123 3.6v in the P1D CE Q5 the tint shift slightly cooler like the one the P3D CE produces.

yes i agree.
I prefer the p3d ce cooler tint.
If only cree have that Q5 WB tint that would be great.
