Vehicle mounts

Anyone come across a good source for CAR mounts? I'm looking for something similar to the Maglite car mounts but I need to fit a Stinger or 8NX or similar. I've tried the local shops but can only find Maglite clips - nothing similar for smaller barrels.

I want a plastic mount so it won't cut into the lights, screw mount, fairly cheap. Don't really like the price of putting charging cradles in each car.

I basically want to be able to pull my light from my AC charger, jump into any of my cars and be able to pop it into a clip mount so I won't have to worry about it flying around if I hit the brakes, rolling under the seat, or just ending up missing.

(Had my Stinger on the seat beside me once. It rolled out the door when I got out and I didn't notice. I noticed REAL quick when I got back in the car and reversed over it. BUMP!

But, except for a tiny nick in the bezel from a rock, it was just fine!

Anyone got suggestions? I know I could pop it in the glove compartment, but I'm thinking on buying an US and I measured - it won't fit in some of my cars. I'd also like it really quickly at hand.

i think you can get just the charging cradle by itself and mount that to the car. should be cheaper.

I bought a Panavice in-dash mount for my cell phone, it is very strong I think you could use it to mount your light. I just don't know if you want your light mounted to the dash!

Might try the local hardware store and look for those clips that hold broom and mop handles to the wall.

Have you tried the c-cell mag light clamps? Or maybe third party clamps that might have a wider usable range?

I use NiteIze Mounts. The Mag C-mount holds the 8NX perfectly. The Mag D-mount holds the M6 perfectly.

I currently have the NiteIze mounts holding a 9AN and M6 in the utility compartment of my cargo area (SUV). In the glove box I have a B90 charger mounted with a Mag-C clamp holding a G2 right underneath.

The Mag AA version holds the E2e nicely.
