Hi,

I am after a very specific led torch. Below I have listed the specs in order of importance because I feel the exact torch I'm looking for probably doesn't exist.

Less than $50
1 x XML - t6. (Or U2)
Running at least 2.5 amps on high mode
Zoomable/focusable
Single 18650 battery (battery not included)
Don't need charger

Everything else doesn't matter (button position etc)

I'm tired of buying xm-l torches off eBay that end up running the led at 1amp despite the description saying 2.5a digitally regulated or 10w or 900lm etc.

Does this torch exist or am I going to need to DIY?

Thanks in advance :).

I'm 90% sure your light does not exist. Unless there is a led lenser floating around, but even if there was I wouldn't recommend it.

your problem is heat dissipation, most focus lights just can't be very bright, since they can't let the heat out.

and since led lenser is sitting on the patents, and they make clunkers, the technology is dying on the vine.

The Fenix LD50 may be the zoom light we have all been praying for, for years..

it should be released anytime now.. still stuck in quality control I can only assume
