i have raised bumps on my design, flat top since i'll be using the pins on the K2 to align them.. but it could easily be made backward compatible once i know the exact long dimension of that hex.. i'll make like a 1mm tall bump with a .2mm dent in the middle to exactly center the emitters.

eMachineShop is a great program and service.. free software and very reasonable prices.
