Well, Steve, you've done it again, a wonderful job on Ti AA Volere. I guess this is your first complete product under your name, and it is really cool.
I just got it this morning and it was well packed in a gift box.
Slimmer and slightly taller than D-10.
Slightly brighter than D-10 in my eye, and the hot spot and the spill is also bigger.
Laser marked logo looks really good. Much better than you see in the pic's.
XP-G LED is well centred.
Well spaced 3 speed brightess control. I wonder if there is any hidden mode or hidden programmability that I still haven't encountered.
I cannot say I like it better over Ti D-10 yet, but I'll play with it for days and let you guys know. And I already feel that this can be an excellent EDC light.
Many wants 123 or 18650 in the same style, and my feeling is that it would be a better choice with 18650, having played around this Volere.
I'm sure many will do follow up reports on this light, and I was just the lucky one to received it first. :nana:
cheers,
Here's some more pic's with other lights for comparison.
From left to right;
Aleph1, Volere, Fatty EX-10, Bitz.
