Hi everyone!! I'm electically challenged yet not afraid to learn , maybe someone can help. I've got a 10v battery(Nicad)From a motorola radio,I'm trying to build a model rocket launch controller. This is a pretty simple circuit consisting of a key switch , continuity light , momentarily on normally open switch (button) and the battery. i was going to use a flashlight bulb for the continuity light ,the 3.5v bulbs won't take the 10 volts. I tried to use resistors to bring the voltage down and was successful with that yet the amperage has dropped too much to power the light. .... Any suggestions ? I don't want to waste resources($$$) or brain cells. Many thanks and CHEERS!!
