voltage requirements for an MN02?

I'm thinking of running my E2D on 17670s....with the stock MN03 its maybe half as bright? I thought maybe a MN02 would be brighter instead.

any thoughts on this?
Although I don't intend to go into rcr123As, that may be considered if theres no other way to power either lamp assemblies using single cells

I tried the MN02 on a single 17670 - a sickly yellow beam. Usable in an emergency, but not something you would want as a regular user. I am not sure if it is brighter than the MN03 or not in this case. The Lumensfactory HO or EO 1R bulbs are designed for this and work quite well.
