W/C DRIVER IS MORE EFFICIENT, BUCK OR BOOST???

given the right batt configuration for each driver...which will run the LED more efficiently???
also, w/c driver protects the LED better...longer lifespan???

See this thread for an overview of all available drivers. I think right now, the most efficient driver is still the Super Down Convertor from Mike Jordan with over 90% efficiency on a H bin vF luxeon. This translates to 111-114 minutes on high.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Luxeons are rated at 700mah but as long as you don't overdrive the Luxeon with too much current and you have adequate heatsinking, then your LED should be fine..
