Want to try modding one of my older lights

Hi everybody,

as you can see in my signature, I have a Walther Tactical light (http://www.carl-walther.info/dev2/i...g=DE&content=products&hid=7&uid=5&product=512).

I am not using it on my duty belt anymore for quite a time now, but I placed it in my car, for cases of emergency!

The seller says, that the Walther tactical is build like the SureFire 6P. Is that true? Would the Walther Tactical then be able to take Drop-Ins made for the SureFire 6P? What is the diameter of such Drop-Ins?
I found a Drop-In @ deal-extreme (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6090), but there is no lumens-rating. How can I find out about the lumens of such Drop-Ins? Or can you adivse me a good (bright) but cheap Drop-In that would fit into my Walther Tactical?

Well, you can take out the lamp module and see if it looks the same. If it does, this thread has most of the P60 LED dropins

Thank you for the answer, but I could not find lumen ratings or runtimes for 2x CR123 in the list, you showed me.

What is the diameter of P60 Drop-Ins?

Maybe someone can give me a concrete advise about a Drop-In, that would fit into my good old Walther Tactical (along with lumen rating and runtime on 2xCR123)!

I am going to pick the light from my car in the next days an will see, if I can take it into parts. Maybe I will then make some pictures and post them here on CPF!
