Re: Wave: Titanium Sapphire AAA light

Hi guys,
I can't read each of the e-mails in a quick response time but it certainly appears that these are all gone and I may be notifying some of you that you missed this wave.

I am going to focus on getting these packed and labeled so I can take them to the Post Office when I am done with the lot. (Probably early tomorrow AM but the lights will be out of my hands and soon off to their new homes)

If you haven't sent an e-mail request already, please don't bother to now. Sorry!!

Re: Wave: Titanium Sapphire AAA light

Hello Don,
Congratulations on this wave. The AAA Sapphire is a very nice light. Any chance for a 18650 tube?

Can we expect a wave of this light anytime soon?

I am not aware of such a battery so it is likely that I will move forward with 2xCR123 as the battery system for this light. I still have a bunch of homework to do with this light and in adition to identifying an appropriate driver, I want to make sure I pick the best 4 die LED as a basis for it. This is not the light you are sugesting but it is one that I believe in and am interested in bringing forth.

It's all good Brighterisbetter ....... I was thinking more along the lines of "Penn & Teller" And as for Goofus that sounds like a good name for my next project ......... "The Goofus " it has a nice ring to it!

See post #43 steve
Hi Olac,

From Don: "it certainly appears that these are all gone". I'm hoping it only appears that way, but that there was actually at least 1 left.:grin2:

Cheers,
Steve
