Does anyone know of another source- other than Surefire, who provides Weapon Mounted Lights? I presently have a M3 on my Glock 17 and one on my Remington 870 Shotgun, but I don't like the "under barrel" setup on the shotgun for reasons involving tactics.
Can anyone suggest another maker of weapon lights?
Thanks!

SureFire makes a Picatinny Rail Forend of the 870:

On this you can mount a Millennium Universal WeaponLight on side. A model such as the M952XM05 would be a good option.

I have not heard of any operational user feedback of using any other brand. However, you could risk trying to use a Laser Devices weapon-mounted light on the picatinny rail.

Please let us know what you decide...

Laser devices markets a bunch of options for shotguns. Most place the light on the side of the weapon between the barrel and the magazine tube.

Good stuff !

Laser Devices also has the new line of 6V and 9v rail-mounted lights out. Looks like SureFire, Insight, and Laser Devices are the big three.
