Wee necklace

So, those of you wearing your Wee on a necklace...what kind?
I have been looking at some Ti neckalces, haven't found many I like (please feel free to point me to one!). Thinking about cordage of some kind....
Any helpful ideas?

Here is a place that has some Ti chains, you can order different sizes or lengths.

i previously carried my Raw Ti on a necklace I picked up from TitaniumStyle last year but the Ti Wee has taken it's place. Here's some older photos of it (30" Ti chain model# 6-014)

That site is fantastic. I think I have chosen 6-003 in 22". I don't have many necklaces, so I am not 100% sure on the length. I'm going to head to a jewelry store today to try on some necklaces.

Yes, it is easy to do.:twothumbs

Take the split ring off the metal "tube", slide out the cord and cut and tie to the desired length.

Although hard to work those little split rings, a better choice (IMHO) is to use a ball bearing swivel of the appropriate size such as one of these: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/t...&parentType=index&indexId=cat20293&hasJS=true
Just go to your local fishing supply shop and find one that looks size appropriate.

Then put a clip such as: http://www.lighthound.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1342 on the other end.:thumbsup:

The 6-003 is really dainty. Will it be strong enough for the wee? Go to a hardware store and look at the 3 mm ball chain (like bathtub chain if they still have such a thing. It will give you a good idea about the size.

Thanks for the heads up. From teh picture it looked a little more substantial. I'll have to find a beefier one, but I like the looks of that. Maybe 6-005

Here is a picture of my super expensive $3.00 stainless steel ball chain. I am old and ugly so you can tell looks matter little, functionality first, looks second.

Yes, it is.

Those little split rings bend pretty easy when trying to fit it thru the hole, but you can get a pack of about 20 for a couple bucks in the fishing supply aisle at WallyWorld.

I was in the same boat as this is the only necklace I own but before i got mine, i took a piece of paracord (string, dental floss, yarn or whatever will do) to measure out the length of the chain I wanted to buy. It gave me a good reference on how long it would be and how it would fall around my neck. I wanted a chain just long enough that i could take it on and off without having to undo the hook each time.

Another site that I came across is when I was looking was Titanium Eden. They have some Ti ball chain necklaces that are cool but they didn't have the size I was looking for.

I got the chain just long enough for over the head wear so I wouldn't have to engage/disengage the clasp each time I put it on and off but It feels fairly robust. Very nice tension on the lobster claw clamp and so far I've never have had a problem with it.
