There are so many brands of batteries to choose from, Duracell, Energizer, Surefire, Rayovac, etc. any of you guys from experience find which brands perform for the Surefire M6? I'm looking to buy batteries for my 2 cells lights, and then batts exclusively for my M6, what be the best bang for the buck?....................

The best IMO are Panasonic and Sanyo. Also, I doubt you'd have much trouble from SF cells in an M6.

I've been using Panasonic for a while and noticed better runtimes, and more consistent output than the Titanium cells I was using before. The Panasonic cells I have are made in the USA, and rated 1550mAh.

I've read that Streamlight & SureFire cells are also made by Panasonic, in Georgia.

I've also read that the M6 draws a bit more current than 123 primaries are rated to deliver safely (this might be only the high-output lamp assembly though), and that to keep your keister covered, the poster suggested running SF cells only - that way if there is a problem, you're definitely covered with SureFire. The cost isn't really a big deal, Streamlight @ $1.50 or SF @ $1.75. But I don't have an M6 to feel either...:sigh:

Edit: I don't have an M6 to FEED either... must have been a Freudian slip!!!
