What components are good for Flash light electonic

I have hundreds of Old PC parts for salvasge. I'm gonna pull the large electrolytic Caps, inductors and transistors

but what PCB mount micro stuff is usable?

I've found the yellow surface mount tantalum caps found on many devices especially hard drives to be usefull in ic powered step up circuits like the zlt minimag boards.
The value is printed on them. I would like to use some of the small ceramic caps too but haven't got a cap meter to check their capacity. The heatsinks in pc power supplies are a handy source of small bits of aluminum. I have quite a stash of toroid inductors from motherboards too but haven't needed them in flashlight stuff yet.
